Campaign calendar
The Tax Agency has confirmed that the 2025 Income Tax campaign will open on 2 April 2026 and run until 30 June. Returns with an amount payable by direct debit may be filed until 25 June.
Key changes
- New IRPF tax brackets: the brackets for income between €21,000 and €35,000 have been adjusted, potentially saving up to €400.
- Energy-efficiency deduction: the deduction for energy-improvement works on a primary residence has been raised to 60%.
- Self-employed with reduced net income: the 5% reduction for net earnings below €14,450 is maintained.
- Employer pension plans: the deductible contribution limit rises to €10,000 per year.
